Soundscape Design
In 2016 AJ launched Sword Coast Soundscapes. A YouTube channel dedicated to ambient soundscapes for use during tabletop roleplaying games. In 2020 the channel hit the milestone of 50,000 subscribers and launched the catalogue of work onto streaming services around the world.
Oathsworn: Into the Deepwood
The monstrous Deepwood has consumed the land. No farms or fields remain. There is only corruption, rot and the endless shadow of the twisted trees. When the Deepwood came, mankind collapsed in on itself - ravaged by starvation and the stuff of nightmares. Clawing their way out of this abyss, barely clinging to life, were the great cities. They are all that survived of the old world and now stand alone, as if islands in a sea of death.
To support the narrative of the game the Player's guide contains a narrative that progresses throughout the game. The companion app contains audio narration of the entire story, with Aj supplying the sound design for this audio.

In addition, the companion app contains background ambiences for every location in the game and in multiple weather conditions. In total there are over 6 hours of custom designed audio for the game, all designed specifically for it.

The game launched on Kickstarter in 2019, with delivery scheduled for early 2021.
